Have you had one of those days, wishing you were on holiday? The feeling of exploring the streets and popping into the next intriguing cafe?

Well, that’s pretty much me on my ‘Off days’. Except, I'm still in Singapore. You know what’s amazing though? I'm talented at recreating that vibe. Sometimes i feel that we are so busy working and living Life that we get so disconnected and lose our sense of romanticism.

Coincidentally my mom decided to ask me out for coffee - and I knew right where to bring her. We both love pretty places and I for one am into the french-inspired decor (not the renaissance but kind of like a tinge).

We found ourselves admiring the interior at Merci Marcel on Club Street. It wasn’t my first time, but that day, I just felt like vibing the french way.

After ordering a cuppa, I felt we needed company and called my GF Rara to come join us.

We ended up exploring Arab Street after grubbing at Dual.

Anything Neon & Fresh always catches my eye!

We ended the day with a stop at the groceries, buying some snacks and eventually being caught in the storm! It was nice since I was reminded of a time my mom and toddler-self went to the shop on a rainy day!

How do you recreate your holiday vibe? Do share!
