Coffee Run - % ARABICA

Admittedly, I first stumbled upon Arabica on social media when I saw A Korean Influencer visited this coffee shop on her trip to Kyoto. Something about the logo, or maybe just the shop itself appealed to me.

Fast forward a few months later, I found myself in Hongkong for a Conference. I was happy that at that time Arabica had already set foot there. Unfortunately during my 9-day stay there I didn’t get a chance to visit. It was waayyyy too hot (summer in Hong Kong is no joke) and wayyy too far from where I was staying.

How happy as you can imagine that i heard Arabica opened in Singapore!

A few months delayed but I still managed to head down on a hot Tuesday afternoon. I am Big on Tea/Coffee time - second to Breakfast! Popped by the Arab Street outlet as my business partner, Ros, had an appointment in Bali Lane.

Not to much surprise, there was a queue for coffee.

The decor was very minimalistic and thus anything minimalistic just screams “understated artsy”. It was tragic that I was already full to the brim … so any heavy orders was not going to cut it. I was glad to know that there was a Soy, Almond and Oat milk option. Settled for an Iced Americano, which came in a standard size. I paid $6.60 for it. Apparently if you googled this, the Matcha Latte is the thing to try as well.

And of course immediately after I ordered, Ros called me to add an order. The queue jumped 7 spots by the time I re-queued.

Verdict? Good coffee. I am not exactly a coffee snob but I absolutely love the smell of coffee and this definitely had a distinctigve punch to it. I’m going back to try the Espressos! Also, seats indoors are Super limited.. you are free to sit outside.

And in case you were wondering, they sell coffee beans as well!
